To Kill Achilles lassen ihren neuen Track „Luna et Altum“ vom Stapel

Zuletzt meldeten sich To Kill Achilles in regelmäßigen Abständen mit neuen Outputs zurück. Nun machen sie 2021 einfach da weiter, wo sie aufgehört haben – nämlich mit einer weiteren Single-Veröffentlichung samt visuellem Content zu ihrem Stück „Luna et Altum“.

Bei „Luna et Altum“ handelt es sich um den bislang sechsten Tune der neuen LP. Vorher durften wir uns schon in die Tracks „fourpercent“, „Oh God, I’ve Never Felt This Low“, „21:36“, „Venom“ und „Beautiful Mourning“ einhören.

Am 5. Februar 2021 erscheint die erste Platte der Band unter Arising Empire mit dem Titel „Something To Remember Me By“. In einem emotionalen Statement äußern sich die Musiker aus Schottland mit folgenden Worten zu der Entstehung des Albums:

It’s so surreal for us that ‚SOMETHING TO REMEMBER ME BY‘ is out in only 51 days. This record is the culmination of three years of hard work, and as cliché as it sounds, blood, sweat and so many tears. We all feel so blessed to be able to talk about these subjects in a public way and we can honestly say that the creation of this record has helped us all through some really dark times in our lives – be that alcohol addition, depression, intense loneliness or just the fear of being forgotten – having something to work towards has kept us all on a straight path and the idea of it finally coming to light is actually terrifying, but exciting none the less. This record will forever mean a great deal to us as individuals, it was written with layers of meaning and purpose, but one of those layers was to stand as a body of work that says “hey, we were here once and we had something to say” – it truly is something to remember us by. We’d like to collectively say thank you to each and every person who has supported this band and enabled us to release this record, you’ve given us a chance to be remembered as people once we’re gone and the significance of that will never be taken lightly. Thank you.
