Diesen Freitag bringen Halestorm eine EP namens „Reimagined“ mit Neuauflagen bereits bekannter Tracks an den Start. Darauf zu finden ist eine Reissue des Songs „Break In“ mit Evanescence-Sängerin Amy Lee, die bereits als Single ausgekoppelt wurde.

Over the last decade we’ve been putting out cover Eps in between every original album cycle just for fun…But this time around we decided to shake it up! For our ReImagined Ep, we committed to only One cover but filled the rest with reimagined versions of Halestorm songs. It was such a blast to remake some of our favorite originals. One of the stand out moments on this ep is a duet of our song “Break In” featuring the amazingly incomparable @amylee. Produced by Nick Rasculinecz, we recorded this duet pre-COVID-19, together in the same room, live, as a full performance from beginning to end. Amy brought new meaning to this song, turning what was once just a love song into a statement of unity and support for each other. Die Originalversion von „Break In“ ist auf dem 2012 erschienen Album „The Strange Case Of…“ zu finden.

„Reimagined“ erscheint indes am kommenden Freitag, den 14. August und beinhaltet neben weiteren Songs von Halestorm auch ein Cover des Whitney Houston-Klassikers „I Will Always Love You“.

Wann wir genau mit einem gänzlich neuen Album der Truppe rechnen dürfen, ist noch nicht bekannt. Wie Lzzy Hale vor kurzem verriet, dürfen wir uns sogar auf ein Doppelalbum freuen. Wir sind gespannt.

Zuletzt brachte die Kombo 2018 ihre aktuelle Scheibe „Vicious“ auf den Markt. Das Album markiert den nunmehr vierten Longplayer der US-Band.
