Halestorm: Das nächste Werk könnte sogar ein Doppel-Album werden

Planmäßig dürfen wir uns „nach Corona“ auf haufenweise neue Alben freuen, denn die Bands haben zwecks Live-Pause zumeist Zeit zum Schreiben. So auch Halestorm. In einem neuen Interview mit Consequence Of Sound verrät Sängerin Lzzy Hale, wie sie den Lockdown so nutzten.
Und die Antwort ist die, die wir uns zumeist erhoffen und wenigstens ETWAS Positives aus der ganzen Sache zieht: Sie arbeiten an neuer Musik. Wie die Sängerin verrät, haben sie so viel Stoff, dass es vielleicht sogar für ein Doppelalbum reichen könnte!
Halestorm haben genug neues Material für ein Doppelalbum
„We have been writing a lot, so there will be new music at some point. Maybe there will be a double record, because of all this. I think it’s important to stay connected, not just in a musical sense, but to let everybody know you’re here and connected.
[…] The funniest thing for us is that since this pandemic stated, we’re busier now than maybe we would have been. I’ve never had to learn so much technical stuff and videos and Zoom etiquette and all that. In a lot of ways, I’ve been enjoying putting myself out there and us out there as a brand. I had kind of inadvertently been preparing for something like this, and there will be a rollout of releases and duets and projects I’ve been working on for the past year or so that now have an opportunity to shine.“
Wann genau wir damit rechnen dürfen, ist natürlich noch nicht bekannt.
Zuletzt brachten Halestorm 2018 ihre aktuelle Scheibe „Vicious“ auf den Markt. Das Album markiert den nunmehr vierten Longplayer der US-Band.
Das Selftitled-Debüt erschien 2009.
