Green Day spielen „Dookie“ wohl bald in voller Länge

Anno 1994 haben Green Day ihr Studioalbum „Dookie“ veröffentlicht. Die Platte wird demnach in diesem Jahr 25 Jahre alt. Grund genug, das Ding also mal in voller Länge live zu präsentieren, oder?

Das dachte sich wohl jetzt auch die Band selbst. Nachdem sie vor kurzem eine einmalig stattfindende Show in Madrid für nächste Woche angekündigt haben, verdichten sich nun die Anzeichen darauf, dass Billie Joe Armstrong und Co. dort „Dookie“ in Gänze präsentieren werden.

Spielen Green Day „Dookie“ bald in voller Länge?

Billie Joe Armstrong selbst postete vor kurzem nämlich das Artwork des Covers in seiner Instagram-Story und packte dazu die spanisch Flagge obendrauf. Ein weiteres Instagram-Profil namens „greendayitalianrageandlove“ fragte daraufhin in einem separaten Post „Would you like to hear the entire Dookie live?“, worauf Armstrong mit einem zwinkernden Emoji reagierte.

Okay, zugegebenermaßen sind das keine handfesten Hinweise, aber doch recht eindeutige Anspielungen.

Wir sind gespannt und werden spätestens am Abend des 02. November mehr wissen. Dann findet die Show in Madrid nämlich statt.

Green Day haben vor kurzem ihr brandneues Studioalbum „Father Of All“ angekündigt. Weiterhin haben sie eine exklusive Show in Berlin bestätigt und sind 2020 bei Rock am Ring und Rock im Park neben System Of A Down und Volbeat als Headliner zu sehen.
