The Word Alive melden sich mit „Nocturnal Future“ zurück

Es ist nun gut ein Jahr her, dass The Word Alive verkündet haben, dass sie sich von Gitarrist Tony Pizzuti und Drummer Matt Horn getrennt haben. Seitdem wurde es sehr still um Sänger Tyler „Telle“ Smith und Gitarrist Zack Hansen – doch nun meldet man sich mit frischen Tönen und einem Neustart zurück.

So dürfen wir uns über eine neue Single namens „Nocturnal Future“ freuen, bei der es sich um den ersten Appetizer auf das neue Album der Truppe handelt. Zum noch nicht näher konkretisierten Longplayer sagt Telle:

„This album is the MOST important album to date for us, there is no question about that. But I feel we rose to the challenge and I hope you’ll embrace this new era, we’ll need your support more than ever.“

Telle Smith zur Nummer: „‚Nocturnal Future‘ is meant to be unexpected, and from the moment it starts I think you feel a new energy in the music we haven’t captured before. I wanted to encapsulate all of the things our fans have loved into one song, intricate guitars, flashy yet tasteful drums, meaningful lyrics and melodies you’ll want to sing along too. Lyrically, it’s a call to each of us to try to do more in a world seemingly hell bent on destroying itself. By the end of the song we want you to have pictured yourself at our show losing your mind, hopefully we’ll see you soon!“

Wann wir mit besagtem neuen Album rechnen dürfen, ist noch nicht bekannt. Zuletzt brachten The Word Alive 2020 ihre Platte „MONOMANIA“ an den Start. Kurz vor dem Bekanntwerden des Splits gab’s außerdem eine Single namens „Wonderland“ zu hören.
