Unser Admin sorgt dafür, dass alles funktioniert. Manchmal funktioniert es nicht, dann ist zwar er schuld. Aber dann repariert er es und wir haben ihn alle wieder lieb.
Machine Gun Kelly beehrt uns wirklich am laufenden Band mit guten Neuigkeiten. Seitdem der Musiker in Pop-Punk-Gefilden unterwegs ist und schon kommende Woche sein Album „Tickets To My Downfall“ auf den Markt bringt, hat er nun die nächste gute Neuigkeit parat.
In einem Video-Call mit den Kollegen von Rock Sound verriet MGK, dass er drei Songs mit niemand geringerem als Yungblud in der Hinterhand hätte. Die beiden Musiker kollaborierten bereits auf der Single „I Think I’m OKAY“, auf der auch Blink-182-Drummer Travis Barker zu hören war.
Die drei Singles, die uns nun erreichen sollen, werden womöglich sogar noch dieses Jahr veröffentlicht. Auf einem ist allem Anschein nach zusätzlich auch noch The Used-Frontmann Bert McCracken zu hören.
„There’s three tracks. They are so fire. The reason they aren’t on the record is personal reasons. It’s because one had a feature that we’re trying to blend together, I listened to it again for the first time in a long time the other day and almost regretted not putting the energy into figuring it out earlier because I wish this song was on the album. I would be foolish to think that I’m not going to release a deluxe version of this by the holidays, which you would also want a reason to come back and hear stuff. […] I’m glad that we have something to re-release and re-spike around this album in a couple of months. It’s me, Bert [McCracken] and YUNGBLUD on one of the songs. It’s so hard dude. YUNGBLUD sounds like a new version of Bert. Their voices register on the same pitch and with that same ferocity. They can both do raspy, on pitch screams. I want to say it’s one of Travis’ most unique drum cadences I have heard him play on the whole record and the outro is the most classic of pop-punk. It was one of those things where I’m so glad that it’s on our record. It’s just a bunch of ‘Woahs’ but it’s the way that they come in. I think that it was YUNGBLUD who freestyled that.“
Bevor wir uns auf die neuen Songs von MGK und Yungblud freuen dürfen, begnügen wir uns aber erstmal mit „Tickets To My Downfall“, das uns nächste Woche erreicht. Mit „Bloody Valentine“, „Concert For Aliens“ und „my ex’s best friend“ gab es bereits drei Singles zu hören.
Yungblud veröffentlicht vor kurzem seine gemeinsame Single „Obey“ mit Bring Me The Horizon und vorab ebenfalls weitere Singles. Ein neues Album soll uns noch im Laufe dieses Jahres erreichen.
