City and Colour: Dallas Green von Alexisonfire kommt 2020 auf Tour

Bereits seit 2005 verdingt sich Alexisonfire-Mitglied Dallas Green auch als Solokünstler unter dem Aufhänger City and Colour. Seit seiner ersten Solo-LP „Sometimes“ sind mittlerweile 14 Jahre vergangen und das nächste Album steht schon bald in den Läden.

Die nächste Platte des 38-jährigen nennt sich „A Pill for Loneliness“ und erscheint am 04. Oktober diesen Jahres.

Und das will natürlich gebührend gefeiert werden. Aber nur wie, wenn sich Green schon so verdammt selten in Deutschland blicken lässt? Say no more.

City and Colour live auf Tour 2020

Mittlerweile frisch bestätigt wurden immerhin fünf Solo-Konzerte des Musikers, der sich demnach im Februar 2020 in München, Stuttgart, Leipzig, Berlin und Düsseldorf blicken lässt.

Tickets für die Shows gibt es im offiziellen Vorverkauf ab diesem Freitag, 27. September überall da, wo es Karten gibt.

Wann genau wir mit neuen Konzerten von Alexisonfire rechnen dürfen, steht allerdings noch in den Sternen.

‘a pill for loneliness’ is out OCT 4. ‪pre-order artist excl vinyl + merch on the OFFICIAL STORE (9amET 🔗 in bio) i wasn’t always going to call this record ’a pill for loneliness’. it actually had another name up until the last second. i was watching the news one night and something i saw made me change it. they were talking about how researchers are trying to create an actual pill for loneliness. i thought it was pretty awful that we live in world that is making it necessary for us to need a pill to cure being lonely. i realized music was like my pill for loneliness. it allowed me to feel like i had somebody else in my life. when I was younger, all I wanted to do was write a song that made someone feel the way I felt when i connected to music. ‘a pill for loneliness’ is the right title. it is the best way to describe this album and the band. thanks for listening.
