Foreign Pain, die neue Band des ehemaligen The Ghost Inside-Gitarrist und -Backing-Sängers Aaron Brooks, bringt kommenden Monat ihr erstes Album „Death Of Divinity“ auf den Markt. Erste eine Single durften wir von der Truppe hören, nun steht der nächste Appetizer auf den neuen Longplayer in den Startlöchern.

Das neue Stück kommentierte Sänger Andrew Doyle wie folgt:

„A lot of the themes on this record center around addiction, loss, depression, and this song is no exception to that. In the middle of writing this record I almost lost one of my favorite humans on this earth to an attempted suicide. This person has struggled with mental disorders, addiction, and trauma for years, and this attempt shattered me.

Most of the record is me picking up the pieces and trying to make sense of things, and cope with the guilt of feeling like enough is never enough. Musically, ‘Knell‘ takes the listener on arguably the largest journey of any song on the record. Pushing the boundaries of genre is something that we as a band have strived for from the beginning of writing this LP. This track represents that ambition at its best.“

„Death Of Divinity“ erscheint am 03. September 2021 via Good Fight Music und enthält insgesamt zehn Tracks, die sich wie folgt lesen:

Als erste Single koppelten Foreign Pain vor einigen Wochen „…On Failure“ aus, welches wir euch nachfolgend ebenfalls nochmal fürs Protokoll zur Verfügung gestellt haben.

Neben Sänger Andrew Doyle und Gitarrist Aaron Brooks besteht die Band weiterhin aus Darel McFadyen (Gitarre), Shawn Skadburg (Bass) und Sina Xiansheng (Schlagzeug).

Aaron Brooks war Gründungsmitglied von The Ghost Inside und seit 2004 Teil der Band. Er verließ die Formation Anfang 2015. Seitdem ist Jonathan Vigil das einzig verbliebene Gründungsmitglied.
