Cult Of Luna bestätigen ihr neues Album „A Dawn To Fear“

Im Mai veröffentlichten Cult Of Luna ihre neue Single „The Silent Man“ und gaben damit einen ersten Vorgeschmack auf ihr bevorstehendes Studioalbum.

Dieses hat die Kombo aus Schweden nun offiziell angekündigt. Die neue LP nennt sich „A Dawn Of Fear“ und erscheint am 20. September via Metal Blade.

Darüber hinaus präsentiert uns die Band um Frontmann Johannes Persson auch noch ein passendes Musik-Video zur aktuellen Single „The Silent Man“. Ihr könnt euch den Clip an dieser Stelle weiter unten anschauen.

Persson sagte zur neuen Platte „A Dawn Of Fear“ dass die Band etwas anderes machen wollte, als sie es bisher getan haben (Via ThePRP).

„Going into the process, we knew the album we wanted to make, an antithesis of what we’ve done before. For pretty much every album there’s been a very concrete theme. We’ve known from the start the kind of story we wanted to tell, and I didn’t want that to be the case. I’ve seen a lot of subtle changes and patterns in my own behavior and my own thinking the last couple of years, and I wanted this to be a completely spontaneous process. I just wanted to see what came out of me, and ‘A Dawn To Fear‘ is the result of that.“

Neben „The Silent Man“ enthält das neue, nunmehr achte Werk sieben weitere frische Titel. Die Tracklist liest sich wie folgt:
