Afterlife veröffentlichen die nächste Single ihres bevorstehenden Albums

Afterlife bringen im August ihr brandneues Album „Part Of Me“ an den Start. Bevor wir uns auf die Scheibe in Gänze freuen dürfen, erreichte uns zum Wochenende aber erstmal eine neue Single.

Das Stück heißt „Envy“ und kommt auch mit einem passenden Musik-Video daher. Der Output steht in Gänze nachfolgend bereit.

Frontmann Tyler Levenson sagte zum taufrischen Track:

„Our goal with ‘Envy‘ from the start was to create a song that would keep you on the edge of your seat, a heavy track but heavy in a way that the band has never done before, heavy in a way that was exciting and fresh which I firmly believe we did. This song is very much a cautionary tale or warning about how the “grass isn’t always greener on the other side” and how being envious of someone or something is often a dangerous feeling. Wanting something that someone else has or seeing another person’s life and wishing it was you or that your life would be better if things were different which ultimately leaves you feeling unsatisfied once you obtain what you thought you wanted.“

„Part Of Me“ wird am 13. August 2021 über Hopeless Records erscheinen. Zehn Songs wird die Platte enthalten, darunter auch die bereits veröffentlichten Singles „Wasting Time“, „Burn It Down“ und der Titeltrack:

Bei „Part Of Me“ handelt es sich um den zweiten Longplayer von Afterlife. Das Debütwerk „Breaking Point“ kam 2019 auf den Markt.
