Motionless In White covern „Somebody Told Me“ von The Killers

Motionless In White haben vor kurzem eine EP mit Neuauflagen ihrer beiden Songs „Another Life“ und „Eternally Yours“ veröffentlicht. Nun schnappen sie sich schon wieder einen Track und verpassen ihm einen neuen Anstrich. Dabei handelt es sich nämlich um ein Cover des Songs „Somebody Told Me“ von The Killers.

Dazu sagte Frontmann Chris „Motionless“ Cerulli:

„During quarantine we wanted to continue to see what new projects we could push ourselves to create. We’ve always wanted to take a shot at covering an iconic alternative song, and Somebody Told Me has always been one of those tracks that oozes pure energy, and has crazy good hooks that we felt we could transform into a great rock version.

We are very happy to present this cover as one of the projects birthed out of the COVID downtime and hope it’s fun for all fans to check out and tap their feet to.“

Im Original stammt der Song vom 2004 veröffentlichten Album „Hot Fuss“ von The Killers. Wie das Stück nun im MIW-Gewand klingt, könnt ihr euch nachfolgend anhören.

Neben der bereits erwähnten EP „Another Life / Eternally Yours: Motion Picture Collection“ soll uns diesen Sommer übrigens noch eine weitere Release von Motionless In White erwarten. Worum genau es sich dabei handelt, wissen wir allerdings noch nicht.

Zuletzt arbeitete die Kombo auch an gänzlich neuer Musik. Vergangenes Jahr brachten sie außerdem ihren aktuellen Longplayer „Disguise“ auf den Markt.
