Invent Animate arbeiten an einem neuen Album

Im Frühherbst letzten Jahres meldeten sich Invent Animate einerseits mit einer neuen EP zurück und ließen andererseits wissen, dass sie ab sofort bei UNFD unter Vertrag stehen.

Grund genug für die US-Kombo, ihr neues Album anzugehen. Das tat man nun auch, denn wie die Truppe bekannt gab, ist der neue Longplayer in der Mache. Derzeit sei man in der Vocal Session angekommen.

Das neue Album von Invent Animate ist in Arbeit

„In our more youthful days, recording meant a 5-week intensive of tracking all instruments and vocals and coming out with an album on the other side. More recently we are learning that we operate best when we have some time to try new ideas without the pressure of a due date. We are a band that’s about the details, and we like to sit back and reflect on what we’ve done to make sure our connection with it is inspired and emotive. We’ve also learned that having an outside ear during the process helps freshen things up and keeps the creativity flowing, so we’ve been working with @landontours on vocal production. When we get home from Detroit, we’ll track additional vocals and guitars ourselves, so we won’t have to worry if we’re punishing the engineer when we ask to do another take of that pinch harmonic because it wasn’t squealy enough.“

Wir freuen uns auf das neue Material und hoffen, dass auch die restlichen Arbeiten noch schnell und gut vorangehen.

Abseits der EP „The Sun Sleeps, As If It Never Was“ von letztem Jahr brachten Invent Animate 2020 ihr Album „Greyview“ auf den Markt. Die Scheibe stellt den dritten Longplayer der Band dar und er schien – wie auch die beiden ersten Alben – noch über Tragic Hero Records.
