Black Crown Initiate: Gitarrist Andy Thomas ist raus aus der Band

Es gibt Bewegungen im Kader von Black Crown Initiate. Nachdem zuletzt noch befürchtet werden musste, dass Sänger James Dorton seine bisherige Band zugunsten seines neuen Engagements bei The Faceless verlassen hat – was nur kurz darauf dementiert wurde, Dorton bleibt BCI erhalten -, ist mittlerweile ein anderes langjähriges Mitglied ausgestiegen.

Wie Gitarrist Andy Thomas wissen lässt, ist er ab sofort nicht mehr Teil der US-Kombo. Böses Blut soll es dabei aber nicht gegeben haben. Thomas war seit Gründung des Projekts anno 2012 fester Lead-Gitarrist der Band und an allen bisherigen Werken beteiligt.

Folgendes hatte er zu seinem Weggang zu sagen:

“It’s been a long, wonderful, crazy journey, and I’d just like to say I am no longer a member of Black Crown Initiate. There is no bad blood whatsoever, and I’d like to thank all our fans, friends and affiliates from all over the world. I’ll see y’all around, for sure! The band does intend to continue. Stay tuned 🔥“

Auch James Dorton hatte ganz eigene Worte zum Exit von Andy Thomas parat:

„As you might’ve seen on the BCI gram, Andy is no longer with the band. There’s no bad blood. In the decade that’s passed since we started this band with Nick, the man has become like a brother to me, and he will be missed. The rest of the band and I wish him well.

BCI has some work to do, but we will continue on. Stay tuned 🤘“
