As I Lay Dying & Blink-182 stürmen die deutschen Albumcharts

Am vergangenen Wochenende gab es sicherlich so einige Neuerscheinungen zu begutachten; darunter auch die neuen Alben aus dem Hause As I Lay Dying („Shaped By Fire“) sowie Blink-182 („Nine“).

Und wie gehabt erwartet uns jeweils eine Woche später das Resultat dieser Werke. Wie also konnten sich die Longplayer beider Bands in den hiesigen Charts schlagen? Überaus gut.

Starke Platzierungen für As I Lay Dying und Blink-182

Allen voran AILD erzielen mit ihrem Comeback-Album ihre bisher beste Platzierung in hiesigen Gefilden seit Tag 1 ihrer Bandkarriere. Und das mit Abstand.

Ab „An Ocean Between Us“ (2007) tummelte sich die Band um Sänger Tim Lambesis bereits in den deutschen Charts; den bisherigen Bestwert erreichte „Awakened“ aus dem Jahre 2012 mit Platz 21.

„Shaped By Fire“ hingegen hat es sogar in die Top 10 und auf Platz 6 geschafft. Ein massiver Sprung für die Metalcore-Kombo nach vielen Jahren.

Blink-182 hingegen konnten ihre damalige Position #1 mit „Take Off Your Pants And Jacket“ (2001) zwar nie wiederholen, waren seitdem aber fast ausnahmslos Stammgäste innerhalb der ersten zehn Ränge.

„Nine“ legt immerhin die drittbeste Platzierung der Band um Frontmann Mark Hoppus hin und landet in seiner Einstiegswoche auf der #4. Wir gratulieren.
