Mit Hillhaven formierte sich eine neue Supergroup am Himmel der guten Gitarrenmusik. Mitglieder von Ice Nine Kills und From Ashes To New launchten die neue Gruppe, die mit „Damned To Dream“ ihre allererste Single vorstellt.

Hillhaven: Neue Band von Ice Nine Kills und From Ashes To New

Die Kombo besteht aus Sänger Chris Kelly (Ex-Ice Nine Kills, Galactic Empire etc.), den Gitarristen Rick Armellino (Ice Nine Kills) und Jimmy Bennett (From Ashes To New), Bassist Jamie GoWell und Drummer Maty Madiro (From Ashes To New).

Für dieses Jahr plant die neue Kombo noch einige Releases, wie es in einer offiziellen Vorstellung von Frontmann Chris Kelly heißt:

„Hillhaven is two-and-a-half year’s life experience, distilled into a single body of work and bolstered by four monster-level players. We’ve all been in this business for a long time and releasing something new, outside of what we’re all typically known for, is both exciting and nerve-racking.

A lot of thought has gone into planning this year of releases and, in my opinion, ‚Damned to Dream‘ is the best way to kick it off. It’s loud, it’s real, it’s energetic, it’s the perfect taste of what’s to come and we’re all really looking forward to seeing how listeners respond to it.“

Wir harren dann mal der Dinge und sind gespannt, was uns von Hillhaven noch erwartet. Die da Mitglieder alle noch in ihren anderen Bands Ice Nine Kills und From Ashes To New aktiv sind, muss hier natürlich mit Ressourcen jongliert werden. Da es sich hier um Profis handelt, sind wir uns aber sicher, dass das entsprechend gelingen wird.
