Kill The Lights (Ex-Bullet For My Valentine etc.) präsentieren neuen Song

Kill The Lights ist das neue Projekt des ehemaligen Bullet For My Valentine-Schlagzeugers Michael „Moose“ Thomas. Zusammen mit Throw The Fight-Frontman James Clark, Still Remains-Gitarrist Jordan Whelan und Threat Signal-Gitarrist Travis Montgomery macht Moose seit Anfang vergangenen Jahres gemeinsam Musik. Glamour Of The Kill-Mitglied Davey Richmond, der zu Beginn noch den Bass zupfte, ist seit kurzem nicht mehr Teil der Band.

Ab sofort steht die Kombo beim Plattenlabel Fearless Records unter Vertrag. Zur Feier des Tages veröffentlichen sie dann auch gleich einen neuen Song. Der Track nennt sich „Shed My Skin“ und wurde obendrein mit einem passenden Musik-Video versehen.

Sänger James Clark kommentierte die brandneue Single wie folgt:

„‘Shed My Skin‘ is about accepting the ‘real’ you and being comfortable with yourself. It’s about understanding that we are all broken and we are all flawed. We need to stop struggling in silence and need to reach out and ask for help before it’s too late. I personally struggle with anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues, and some days life can be too much and I’m ok admitting that — because that is the true me. As the lyrics say, ‘I’m not bleeding. I’m just broken, and ready to shed my skin.’ We are all the same — I am you.“

Nach „The Faceless“ und „Watch You Fall“ ist „Shed My Skin“ bereits die dritte Single von Kill The Lights. Wann wir mit dem Debütalbum rechnen dürfen, soll nach Angaben der Band in Kürze bekannt gegeben werden.
