Iron Maiden verschieben ihre Headliner-Tour auf 2021

Im Juni und Juli wollten Iron Maiden mit ihrer „Legacy Of Beast Tour 2020“ eigentlich für vier Termine hierzulande halt machen. Wegen des Verbots von Großveranstaltungen zur Eindämmung der Coronavirus-Pandemie kann die Sause nicht wie geplant stattfinden.

We are very sorry to announce that further to the latest directive from the German government the ban on any large gatherings of any kind is being extended until August which sadly means these Iron Maiden headline shows will no longer be taking place in June & July as planned, June 9 – Bremen Buergerweide June 10 – Cologne Rhein-Energie-Stadium June 23 – Berlin Waldbuehne July 18 – Stuttgart Mercedes Benz Arena The full statement from Wizard Promotions, our German Promoter is below: Frankfurt, 20. April 2020 – With great regrets we must announce that the German government has advised that there will be no major events in Germany until August 31 in response to coronavirus pandemic so the IRON MAIDEN Legacy of the Beast concerts in Bremen, Cologne, Berlin and Stuttgart will not happen this Summer as planned. However we are currently working on the re- scheduling of the German tour in the early Summer of 2021. The band, ourselves and everyone involved support this decision by the German government as we all agree that health and safety are the most important issues. We are working intensely on these dates with the band’s Agent and Management and they will be announced as soon as we can. Purchased tickets for the 2020 dates remain valid.

Wie die Band mitteilte, werden derzeit Ersatztermine für den Frühsommer 2021 gesucht. Bereits erworbene Tickets behalten natürlich ihre Gültigkeit.

Seitens der Agentur Wizard Promotions heißt es in einem ausführlichen Statement:

Mit von der Partie wären außerdem bei allen Terminen Airbourne sowie in Bremen Disturbed und in Köln, Berlin und Stuttgart Lord Of The Lost gewesen.

Ob die Bands auch bei den neuen Dates im Vorprogramm zu sehen sein werden, ist noch nicht klar.

Vielleicht dürfen wir uns wenigstens auf ein neues Album von Iron Maiden in diesem Jahr freuen.

Die Anzeichen verdicht sich mehr und mehr, dass ein neuer Longplayer in den Startlöchern steht.

Zuletzt veröffentlichte die Kombo um Frontmann Bruce Dickinson 2015 das Album „The Book Of Souls“. Die Platte markierte dato bereits das 16. Studioalbum der Mannen.
