Haunted Shores (Periphery): Neues Album im März; erste Single online

Die Periphery-Gitarristen Mark Holcomb und Misha Mansoor haben vor einigen Jahren ein rein instrumentales Nebenprojekt namens Haunted Shores aus dem Boden gestampft, über das 2016 auch ein erstes Album namens „Viscera“ rausgeboxt wurde.

Bis zu entsprechendem Nachschub dauert es nach all den Jahren Gott sei Dank nicht mehr allzu lange. Das Projekt hat nämlich nun einen neuen Longplayer bestätigt.

Selbiger hört auf den Namen „Void“ und bietet acht frische Songs.

Erreichen soll uns das fertige Werk übrigens am 11. März 2022 über das Periphery-eigene Label 3DOT Recordings.

Als Appetizer auf den nächsten Output hat das Duo eine erste Nummer namens „Hellfire“ veröffentlicht, die wir euch natürlich jetzt und hier beigefügt haben.

Mark Holcomb spricht derweil wie folgt über das neue Album sowie die erste Single-Auskopplung:

„We’re proud to announce the upcoming release of our new record, ‘Void‘. Misha and I have wanted to do another Haunted Shores album for quite some time, and we finally made the time necessary to focus on these songs. I have always loved writing Haunted Shores songs, but this one in particular feels special – a little crazier, a little more unhinged, and in my opinion, a step above what we’ve done in the past. ‘Hellfire‘ was the first song we demo’d for the record, and in many ways it sets the table for the record in its intent and spirit. I can’t wait for people to hear the rest of it.“
