Unser Admin sorgt dafür, dass alles funktioniert. Manchmal funktioniert es nicht, dann ist zwar er schuld. Aber dann repariert er es und wir haben ihn alle wieder lieb.
Im Juni schon präsentierten Bad Omens die Akustik-Verison ihres Songs „Limits“. Nun steht ein noch größerer Output der Kombo in ruhigeren Tönen in den Startlöchern. Die Band aus Richmond, Virginia kündigte nämlich ihre neue Akustik-EP „FGBGFM Unplugged“ an.
Das gute Stück erscheint am 29. Oktober 2020 via Sumerian Records und kommt mit folgenden sechs Tracks als Akustik-Version daher:
1. Never Know
2. Limits
3. Careful What You Wish For
4. Mercy
5. Burning Out
6. If I’m There
Die Release kommentierte die Band mit folgenden Worten:
„When we decided to do this EP, we carefully selected what songs we thought were most important for people to hear at their core. As a band whose songs are typically built around a heavy production and a wall of heavy guitars alongside smashing drums, it was both exciting and refreshing for us to recreate our songs in this way. We hope you find yourself immersed in the stripped down side of Bad Omens on your listen through the FGBGFM stripped down EP.“
Als nächsten Appetizer präsentieren sie uns die Akustik-Version zu „Never Know“. Zu Gemüte führen könnt ihre euch die etwas andere Version des auf dem aktuellen Album „Finding God Before God Finds Me“ hier und jetzt.
Der aktuelle Longplayer „Finding God Before God Finds Me“ markiert das zweite Studioalbum von Bad Omens. Das selbstbetitelte Debütwerk erschien 2016.
