Oh welch Ironie.
Unser Admin sorgt dafür, dass alles funktioniert. Manchmal funktioniert es nicht, dann ist zwar er schuld. Aber dann repariert er es und wir haben ihn alle wieder lieb.
Eigentlich wäre Ende des Monats Kick-Off der Europa-Tour von Cattle Decapitation zusammen mit Disentomb, Internal Bleeding und Gloom gewesen. Nun muss „The Europandemic Tour“ wegen der europaweiten Maßnahmen zur Eindämmung der Coronavirus-Pandemie verschoben werden.
Und ja – die Band selbst ist sich der Ironie diese Sache durchaus bewusst.
„Cattle Decapitation Postpones ‚The Europandemic Tour‘ Due to ACTUAL FUCKING GLOBAL PANDEMIC ‚From even the greatest of horrors irony is seldom absent‘ – H.P. Lovecraft Cattle Decapitation will not ‚Bring Back The Plague‘ to European soil this March/April due to Coronavirus and restrictions being placed by governments that are already ‚plaguing‘ other upcoming tours and events. It seems Mother Nature is well ahead of us so we regretfully have to ‚pull the plugÄ on this tour. We are looking into rescheduling the same tour for later in the year. Cattle Decapitation along with Disentomb, Internal Bleeding and Gloom hope everyone stays safe and civil and wish to see you at the future makeup dates. This has also left the bands involved with debts and an uncertain immediate future. If you feel like helping, the bands would appreciate a visit to their respective merch stores. Thank you for your support and understanding in this matter!“
Auch wenn diese ganze Sache wirklich mehr als ernst ist, sollte man IRGENDWIE versuchen seinen Humor zu behalten. So wie Cattle Decapitation.
Nachholtermine sollen laut Statement mit möglichst demselben Line-Up bekanntgegeben werden. Ende vergangenen Jahres haben CD ihr neues Studioalbum „Death Atlas“ auf den Markt gebracht. Die Review für isolierte Stunden in Zeiten der Krise könnt ihr hier lesen.
