Asking Alexandria veröffentlichen die Akustik-Version zum Song „Antisocialist“
Mit Quarantäne-Video.

Asking Alexandria haben vor kurzem ihr neues Album „Like A House On Fire“ auf den Markt gebracht. Vorab als Single kuppelte die Kombo dato den Song „Antisocialist“ aus. Genau dem verliehen Danny Worsnop und Co. nun einen neuen Anstrich und präsentieren eine Akustik-Version dazu.

Gitarrist Ben Bruce kommentierte die Neu-Version des Tracks wie folgt:
„Over the years we have been known to release many acoustic versions of our songs from a number of albums. ‘Antisocialist‘ has rapidly become our most successful active rock single of our entire career so we wanted to do something special. Instead of just another ‚acoustic version‘ of a song we decided to really strip this one back and try and recreate the song as an unplugged version that lives and breathes its own identity. An unplugged, vulnerable rendition of the song that hopefully allows people to feel like they are in the room with the band whilst we play it. To all of our fans, old and new, we truly hope you enjoy this unique version of ‘Antisocialist‘ as much as we do. We love you.“
Zur Unplugged-Version nahmen die Jungs auch noch eine Quarantäne-Video mit Clips aus dem Home Office auf. Den Output in Gänze haben wir euch natürlich nachfolgend zur Verfügung gestellt.

„Like A House On Fire“ markiert das nunmehr sechste Studioalbum von Asking Alexandria. Zuvor brachten sie 2017 ihren Selftitled-Longplayer auf den Markt.
Im Oktober und November wäre die Band hierzulande planmäßig live zu sehen. Ob und in welcher Form die Shows wegen der Coronakrise stattfinden, ist noch nicht klar. Bislang wurden sie allerdings auch nicht abgesagt.
