Alcest stellen ein neues Video zu ihrem Song „Protection“ vor

Am 25. Oktober veröffentlichen Alcest ihr neues Studioalbum „Spiritual Instinct“. Bevor wir die ganze Scheibe um die Ohren gepfeffert bekommen, präsentiert uns das Duo nun mit „Protection“ aber vorerst die erste Single-Auskopplung.

Den Track haben die beiden Franzosen außerdem mit einem passenden Musik-Video verstehen. Den Clip und den Song könnt ihr euch weiter unten zu Gemüte führen.

Frontmann Stéphane „Neige“ Paut kommentiert den ersten Output der neuen Platte wie folgt (via ThePRP):

„‘Protection‘ is the first track I wrote for ‘Spiritual Instinct‘. It’s probably one of our most heavy, spontaneous songs. It is about inner conflict, the tension between the spiritual and darker sides of a person, facing your own anguishes in order to embrace them and then fight them. Like the other tracks on the album, writing it was a very cathartic, healing process for me.“

„Spiritual Instinct“ markiert das nunmehr sechste Studioalbum von Alcest. Zuletzt veröffentlichte das Duo 2016 ihre Platte „Kodama“. Das Debüt „Souvenirs d’un autre monde“ erschien 2007.
