’68 (The Chariot, Ex-Norma Jean): Neues Album ist im Kasten

Das Duo ’68 hat die Arbeiten zu ihrem neuen Studioalbum fertig gestellt. Das verriet Sänger Josh Scogin (The Chariot, Ex-Norma Jean) nun in einem Interview mit Lambgoat.

Die Platte wurde von Nick Raskulinecz (Deftones, Mastodon etc.) produziert und soll voraussichtlich gegen Ende des Jahres via Good Fight Music erscheinen.

„We just finished recording with Nick Raskulinecz, he did Foo Fighters and Deftones and many others, and it was awesome. We literally just finished it and now it’s kind of in the label’s world and what all they do, the mastering and all that stuff… I just say, ’now we let the adults handle it‘. It’s fun and, what can you say about an album that hasn’t been said before?… It’s like whatever, we wrote some more songs and I love them. I can’t wait to be playing them live… They’re some of my favorite songs I’ve ever written, but again, surely any artist would say that about the newest [album].“

’68 veröffentlichten zuletzt 2017 ihr (noch) aktuelles Studioalbum „Two Parts Viper“. 2016 erschien das Debüt „In Humor and Sadness“.
