Bring Me The Horizon: Best Of „2004-2013“ erscheint Ende November

Keine Frage. Bring Me The Horizon haben im Laufe ihrer Karriere nicht nur einen bemerkenswerten Stilwechsel hinter sich gebracht. Dementsprechend kritisch wird das aktuelle Material von einigen Fans der alten Tage betrachtet.

Bring Me The Horizon von damals bis (fast) heute

Mit dem neuen Best of „2004-2013“ sollte dieses Problem der Vergangenheit angehören. Zumindest auf dem Papier.

Denn die Scheibe enthält neben Klassikern wie „Pray for Plagues“ beispielsweise auch Songs wie „Diamonds Aren’t Forever“ oder „Shadow Moses“.

Erscheinen wird das Ganze bereits am 24. November. Vorbestellen könnt ihr die CD jetzt hier. Eine Vinyl-Edition ist dagegen erst später für den 09.02.2018 geplant.

Veröffentlicht wird das Best Of übrigens von BMTHs altem Label Epitaph Records.

„BRING ME THE HORIZON are currently one of the biggest bands in the active rock scene. But back in the early part of the century they were angst ridden boys from England and their sound was deathcore. BMTH have changed a lot over the years, when they formed in 2003, the band played thrashy, breakdown-studded songs influenced by the screaming, slashing sound of American metalcore. Gradually, the group began incorporating electronic passages, acoustic strumming, ominous keyboards and orchestral elements into their music, and the band became all the more popular for it. Yet, despite their experimentation, BRING ME THE HORIZON remained undeniably rooted in metal.
