Vexes stellen den nächsten Song ihres neuen Doppelalbums vor
Das Werk erscheint im Juni.
Unser Admin sorgt dafür, dass alles funktioniert. Manchmal funktioniert es nicht, dann ist zwar er schuld. Aber dann repariert er es und wir haben ihn alle wieder lieb.
Schon am 17. Juni 2022 melden sich Vexes mit ihrem neuen Doppelalbum „Imagine What We Could Destroy /// If Only Given Time“ zurück. Nicht nur der Titel ist lang, sondern auch die Tracklist – weswegen wir euch sie an dieser Stelle einfach mal vorenthalten.
Ganze 24 Songs werden darauf enthalten sein – und das Beste: Wir kennen bisher gerade einmal einen einzigen.
Pardon – zwei. Die Band hat mittlerweile nämlich einen frischen Song namens „The Dream Disease“ vorgestellt, den wir euch jetzt und hier beigefügt haben.
So klingt die nächste Nummer von Vexes
Gitarrist John Klagholz hatte hierzu den folgenden Kommentar auf Lager.
„‘The Dream Disease‘ is about being too afraid to chase a dream or a desire that you’ve had, only to watch the moment or the opportunity pass you by and then feeling the regret and the hollowness about your choice not to pursue it for the rest of time.
We all live with the fear of rejection or feeling like we’re insufficient in certain ways, but to a casual observer things are not always as bad as they seem. The song can be interpreted as someone who from the outside looking in is trying to help ease those fears and offer some kind of encouragement or hope.
Whether we choose to accept that offering is the crux of the matter.“
