Ihr kennt Static Dress nicht? Okay, da kann man euch nicht mal böse für sein, denn die Band ist noch sehr jung. Gerade mal zwei Songs brachte die Kombo bisher heraus.

Anno 2019 gegründet präsentierte uns die verköpfige Kombo bereits die Songs „clean.“ und „Adaptive taste.“.
Mit „safeword“ folgt nun der dritte Track der jungen Band. Frontmann Oli Appleyard kommentiert den neuen Output mit folgenden Worten:
„Safeword. The story of a lover luring themselves into a state of mental torture. Unable to clearly see the difference between emotional and physical connections, we are watching a vicious destructive story unfold. We follow a journey through out the song, beginning to see our character go through the emotions of self doubt, disbelief, anger until they eventually reach breaking point. Toying with their mind creating fake scenarios that never happened. Everything they thought to be this “perfect picture” of the life they had has been a lie told by their own mind.“

Ihr könnt euch „safeward“ zusammen mit einem dazuhörigen Musik-Video nachfolgend zu Gemüte führen.
Wann wir mit einem vollwertigen Album oder einer EP rechnen dürfen, ist noch nicht bekannt.
Anfang des Jahres tourten Static Dress bereits mit Counterparts durch Europa. Keine schlechte Feuertaufe. Dann kann es ja weitergehen.
