Unser Admin sorgt dafür, dass alles funktioniert. Manchmal funktioniert es nicht, dann ist zwar er schuld. Aber dann repariert er es und wir haben ihn alle wieder lieb.
Schon kommenden Monat dürfen wir uns auf ein Re-Release des Albums „Roots Rock Riot“ von Skindred freuen. Das Original stellte dato den zweiten Longplayer der Kombo dar und erscheint in knapp einem Monat als Neuauflage.
Darauf enthalten sein werden auch einige bislang unbekannte Songs, von denen uns nach „It’s A Crime“ von Februar jetzt ein weiterer erreicht.

Das Stück heißt „Struggle“ und wurde von Drummer Arya Goggin wie folgt kommentiert:
„The song ‘Struggle‘, to me at least conveys a message of hope when your in the battle for love. We have all been there and sometimes we win and sometimes we lose. ‘Struggle‘ is about keeping on with the fight as it will be worth it in the end. Life is sometimes a struggle and this year it has really highlighted that. To me it’s as important today as it was when we wrote it over 15 years ago. I’m so pleased it’s getting the chance to be heard and hopefully people will draw a positive message from it.“

Die Neuauflage von „Roots Rock Riot“ erscheint am 21. April 2021 via Hassle Records.
Mittlerweile können die Waliser auf insgesamt sieben Longplayer zurückschauen. Zuletzt brachte die Band um Frontmann Benji Webbe 2018 die Scheibe „Big Things“ auf den Markt. Wann wir mit einer komplett neuen Platte rechnen dürfen, ist noch nicht bekannt.
