Signs Of The Swarm: Weiteres Mitglied raus; neues Statement online

Und schon wieder Neuigkeiten.

VON AM 08/08/2021

Und wieder einmal Signs Of The Swarm.

„Rumors also began to circulate that bassist and longtime member Jacob Toy was quietly fired from the band, after he himself faced an allegation of sexual assault, also by a former girlfriend via a Facebook post.“

„Since its inception this band has had more than its fair share of line-up changes, and we are aware of the confusion that has come with that – particularly over the last few years.

Our goal with Signs has always been to keep the band moving forward, no matter what, and unfortunately that can come with high cost.

The faces you see here may not be the ones you are most familiar with, but are the ones that have kept Signs of the Swarm alive for the better part of the last year and a half.

When the pandemic hit, we decided to use the down time to begin writing for our next album. We had initially recruited Jeff Russo as a fill in for our now-cancelled 2020 European tour, but shortly into the creative process of “Absolvere” we realized that we needed an extra hand in writing, as both of our guitarists were essentially unable to contribute at the time, so we officially invited Jeff on board.

Since that time, David, Jeff, and Bobby have been the driving force of SOTS.
In recent days we have had to make many difficult decisions. But ultimately, we have poured every ounce of what we have and who we are into this band, and particularly this release.

That said, we will be moving forward with the lineup you see here, and all tours and releases will continue as scheduled.
Of these releases will include a music video that was filmed in early June with the previous line up. This has been up to heavy debate within our camp, but overall we feel that it is a necessary step towards moving on.

Most of all, we want to thank our incredible team for supporting us, and our friends and fans for trusting us to make the right decisions.

Thank you.
David, Jeff, Bobby“
