Nightmarer, die Kombo um Ex-Gigan-Sänger John Collett, The Ocean-Drummer Paul Seidel sowie Ex-War From A Harlots Mouth-Gitarrist Simon Hawemann, meldet sich mit einem neuen Song zurück.

Zwei Jahre nach der Release des Debütalbums „Cacophony of Terror“ 2018 veröffentlicht die Band ihre neue Single „II: Metastasis (Primordial Grit)“.
Der Output markiert den ersten Song mit dem neuen Bandmitglied Keith Merrow (Conquering Dystopia, Alluvial). Seit August vergangenen Jahres komplettiert er die Supergroup.

Der Track ist der erste Teil einer Trilogie, von der uns in der kommenden Zeit zwei weitere Songs erreichen. Weiterhin kündigte die Kombo aus Tampa Florida an, noch in diesem Jahr einen neuen Longplayer an den Start zu bringen.
„The song title may suggest it, but ‚Primordial Grit‘ is the middle part of a trilogy. A re-recorded version of it is also going to be featured on our upcoming full length, which is scheduled for a later 2020 release. This is the first song we wrote since Keith Merrow joined on second guitar and it was written within a single day session at his studio in Portland, OR. It takes on a whole new meaning when listened to in the context of the entire trilogy, but it also represents a strong and densely packed statement of its own.“
Die bevorstehende Platte markiert das zweite Studioalbum der Band. Vor der Veröffentlichtung des Debütalbums veröffentlichten Nightmarer 2016 eine EP namens „Chasm“.
