Converge haben 2013 ihre EP „Pound For Pound: The Wolverine Blues Sessions“ auf den Markt gebracht, die ausschließlich Cover-Songs von Entombed A.D. (damals noch als Entombed bekannt) enthält.

Die Kombo entschied sich nun, 100% der Einnahmen an den unheilbar an Krebs erkrankten Entombed A.D.-Frontmann Lars-Göran Petrov zu spenden. LG Petrov leidet an einer sehr seltenen Krebserkrankung am Galleneingang.

Nachdem der Musiker eine Crowfunding-Kampagne ins Leben rief, um die Behandlungskosten zu tragen, wollen seine Kollegen von Converge ihn natürlich unterstützen. Die Band veröffentlichte dazu folgendes Statement:

Lars-Göran Petrov ist Gründungsmitglied von Entombed A.D.. Insgesamt brachten sie drei Studioalben auf den Markt. Zuletzt erschien vergangenes Jahr der aktuelle Longplayer „Bowels of Earth“.
