Unser Admin sorgt dafür, dass alles funktioniert. Manchmal funktioniert es nicht, dann ist zwar er schuld. Aber dann repariert er es und wir haben ihn alle wieder lieb.
Anfang dieses Jahres haben uns Anaal Nathrakh wissen lassen, dass ihr neues Studioalbum im Kasten sei. Nun steht das Ding auch hochoffiziell in den Startlöchern. Die britische Band kündigte nämlich hochoffiziell ihren neuen Longplayer an.
Das gute Stück heißt „Endarkment“ und erscheint am 02. Oktober 2020 via Metal Blade Records. Zur Feier des Announcements lassen die Mannen dann auch direkt den Titeltrack vom Stapel.
„Endarkment“ könnt ihr euch als ersten Appetizer auf den gleichnamigen Longplayer zusammen mit dem dazugehörigen Musik-Video hier und jetzt zu Gemüte führen.
Den bevorstehenden Longplayer kommentierte Sänger Dave Hunt indes wie folgt:
„I think in terms of feel, it’s brighter, more open and direct than maybe we’ve been in the past. Obviously I don’t mean it’s happy-go-lucky sounding, or suggestive of a sunny disposition. I mean something more like it burns with light rather than glowers with darkness. It’s coruscating. Personally, I feel more cynical, more bitter, with a greater sense that the world is fucked, and is continually re-fucked by people who have no idea what they are doing. Musically, I think we’re more mature – not less frenetic, but better able to channel our energies where they’ll be most effective. That’s an ongoing process, you never finish growing into what you’re doing and being better able to push at the edges of what you can do. But we aren’t interested in evolving what we do, only how we do it. We remain unlike the vast majority of other bands in our sound, and we’re proud of what we do.“
Auf „Endarkment“ erwartet uns neben dem heute erschienenen Titeltrack noch neun weitere neue Songs von Anaal Nathrakh. Die Tracklist liest sich wie folgt:

„Endarkment“ markiert bereits das elfte Studioalbum der Briten. Zuvor brachte das Duo 2018 ihr aktuelles Studioalbum „A New Kind Of Horror“ auf den Markt.
