Unser Admin sorgt dafür, dass alles funktioniert. Manchmal funktioniert es nicht, dann ist zwar er schuld. Aber dann repariert er es und wir haben ihn alle wieder lieb.
Vergangenes Jahr meldeten sich ’68 mit ihrer EP „Love Is Ain’t Dead“ und damit erstmals mit neuer Musik seit drei Jahren zurück. Nun reicht die Band auch ein neues Album nach. Wie auch schon bei der aktuellen EP hatte Nick Raskulinecz (Deftones, Korn) bei der neuen Scheibe seine Finger im Spiel.
Das neue Album wird auf den Namen „Give One Take One“ hören und am 26. März 2021 das Licht der Welt erblicken. Frontmann Josh Scogin sagte dazu:
„Of all the music I’ve created over the years, this album holds some of my very favorite moments, lyrically, musically, and even mentally; I travel down several roads that are equal parts therapeutic to get off my chest and terrifying to share with the world. I believe you can feel the tangible joy that music gives each of us in this album; Nick captured the explosive and implosive nature that keeps ’68 moving forward. You can hear the passion and the sincerity that Nick, Nikko, and I have for the art of creating sounds. I’m so proud of this album and humbled by the journey that it took to get here. And if I’m honest, the vast majority of my thoughts are circled around the hope that we will be able to perform these songs live one day soon.“
Als erste Single bekommen wir den Opener der Scheibe serviert. Anhören könnt ihr euch „The Knife, The Knife, The Knife“ wie immer hier und jetzt. Wir haben euch den Track mit dem dazugehörigen Musik-Video nachfolgend bereitgestellt.

Der bevorstehende Longplayer markiert das dritte Studioalbum des Duos aus Atlanta, Georgia. Zuletzt brachten ’68 2017 ihre Platte „Two Parts Viper“ auf den Markt.
