Wednesday 13 veröffentlichen einen neuen Song mit Alice Cooper

Am 27. September bringt Musiker Wednesday 13 mit seinem gleichnamigen Musikprojekt sein neues Studioalbum „Necophaze“ auf den Markt. Nach dem ersten Song „Decompose“ bekommen wir nun den Titeltrack der bevorstehende Platte präsentiert. Und der kommt außerdem mit eine ganz besonderen Gast daher, denn niemand geringeres als Schockrocker Alice Cooper hat auf „Necorphaze“ ebenfalls das Mikrofon in die Hand genommen.

Wednesday 13 kommentierte den Song wie folgt:

„The title track ‘Necrophaze‘ is one of my favorites on the new album, and not just because it features my shock rock hero Alice Cooper. Alice helps deliver the first brutal axe swing on this album, starting the record off and getting the blood flowing immediately.

I like to compare ‘Necrophaze‘ to the movie ‘Creepshow‘, as if every song is a different part of the story. This is the first part of the story and it cuts straight to the bone. Enter the Necrophaze.“

Der bevorstehende Longplayer wurde von DevilDirver-Gitarrist Mike Spreitzer produziert. Neben Alice Cooper arbeiteten außerdem unter anderem Roy Mayorga (Stone Sour/Hellyeah), Lacuna Coil-Sängerin Cristina Scabbia und Children Of Bodom-Frontmann Alexi Laiho an den neuen Songs mit.

Im Oktober sind Wednesday 13 hierzulande als Support von Static-X zu sehen.
