We Came As Romans möchten Kyle Pavone (†) nicht ersetzen

Auch zweieinhalb Wochen nach dem tragichen Tod von We Came As Romans-Sänger Kyle Pavone im Alter von gerade einmal 28 Jahren sitzt der Schock bei seiner Band, den Fans und der Szene im Allgemeinen immer noch tief.

Dave Stephens – der zweite Frontmann der Kombo – nahm sich nun in einem Video auf den Socials von WCAR die Zeit, ein paar Gedanken an die Fans zu richten und kam dabei auch auf die Zukunft der Band zu sprechen.

Stephens kommentiert darin nicht nur, dass die Jungs ihre geplante US-Tour mit Bullet For My Valentine wahrnehmen werden, sondern auch, dass man Pavone nicht ersetzen werden:

„Wir werden Kyle nicht ersetzen. Wir werden zu fünft weitermachen und seinem Leben in den nächsten Wochen auf Tour gedenken.“

“The last few weeks Kyle‘s family, his fans, his friends, and the five of us have been expericing a very wide range of emotions, and for us it’s been the most difficult time of our lives. Through this we’ve been trying to be very honest with each other and open about how we’re feeling and grieving.

So, through all this we’ve decided that the best course of action for the band is to do the Bullet For My Valentine tour. We feel like this honors Kyle, and we can talk about his foundation, the Kyle Pavone Foundation, and carry on doing what he would have wanted us to do and us be together on stage, playing music together, with our fans.

We will not be replacing Kyle. We’ll be continuing on the five of us, and honoring his life for the next few weeks while we’re on tour.”
