Vatican unterschreiben bei UNFD und hauen zwei Singles raus

Die US-amerikanische Kombo Vatican steht nun bei UNFD unter Vertrag. Das als „Unified“ ausgesprochene Label wurde 2011 in Melbourne (Australien) gegründet. Mit am Start haben die neu unter Vertrag genommenen Herren eine Double Single namens „Become A New God“.

Ihren Sound beschreibt die fünfköpfige Truppe aus Savannah (Georgia) als „hardcore’s answer to metalcore“ und lässt sich daher auch in die härteren Gefilde einordnen.

Macht euch selbst einen Eindruck der beiden neuen Songs von Vatican

„Become A New God“ enthält zwei Tracks. Sänger Mike Sugars sagt zum Song „Fractured God“:

„‚Fractured God‘ is about questioning who you are, and what makes up your individuality. Are we truly individuals, or are we products of ideals passed on from last generations? Do we have our own ideals or are we just vessels for those we inherited?“

Der Track kommt sogar mit einem Musikvideo daher, aber seht selbst.

Der zweite Song trägt den Titel „Absolute Reality“. Mike dazu:

„We talk about undeniable truths, and how hard they are to find. There’s a constant flow of information and disinformation in the world today, and it flows at an ever-increasing rate. How can we possibly take all of this and use it to create real context in a technological landscape where this information is disseminated out to users who just chew it up and repeat it?“

Vatican veröffentlichten 2019 ihren aktuellen Langspieler namens „Sole Impulse“ via 1126 Records. Gegründet wurde die Band 2012 als Coastlines und benannte sich 2015 in Vatican um.
