True North lassen ihre neue Single “Fix” von der Leine

Für alle, die noch nach ihrem Pop-Rock Ohrwurm der Woche suchen, gibt es gute Neuigkeiten: True North aus Los Angeles haben mit “Fix” den zweiten Vorgeschmack aus ihrer kommenden Debüt-LP veröffentlicht – und der hat es ganz schön in sich.

Zur Thematik des frischen Outputs erklärt Leadsänger Tim Beken:

„This song is about lusting after someone and realizing that – no matter what you try and do, for better or worse – you can’t get this person out of your head.“

„Fix“ knüpft an ihre vorherige Single „Save Me“ an, nachdem sie zuvor mit „Your Confession“ mehr als 300.000 Streams erzielten. Auf Letzterer gastierte sogar niemand Geringeres als Szenegröße und Sleeping With Sirens-Vocalist Kellin Quinn.

Zum Songwritingprozess erläutert Drummer Michael Cisterna:

„‚Fix‘ is a special song for us. It’s one of those songs that came together very quickly and naturally with all of us in rehearsal one day – it practically wrote itself. Everything from the guitar riff to the vocal melody to the drum groove is unbelievably catchy and hard to forget, in my opinion. It’s definitely one of the most upbeat songs we’ve written in a long time, and it’s super fun to play live. It’s quickly become a band favorite, and we’re really excited for everyone to hear it!“

Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahre 2016 hat sich das US-amerikanische Quintett eine treue und hingebungsvolle Fanbase aufgebaut.

Nach einigen eigenständigen Veröffentlichungen erschien mit „Your Confession“ im Juni diesen Jahres ihre erste Single via Out Of Line Music. Damit verschaffte sich die Kombo in der Szene ordentlich Gehör und ebnete den Weg zu ihrem kommenden Debütalbum.
