Trade Wind (Stick To Your Guns etc.): Neues Album auf dem Weg; erste Single online

Trade Wind, eines der vielen Nebenprojekte von Stick To Your Guns-Frontmann Jesse Barnett, haben da ein Ass im Ärmel. Nachdem die Supergroup, in der u.a. auch Stray From The Path-Gitarrist Tom Williams involviert ist, 2019 das Album „Certrain Freedoms“ auf den Markt brachte, steht nun der nächste Longplayer in den Startlöchern.

Trade Wind (Stick To Your Guns etc.) kündigen ihr neues Album an

Am 21. Mai 2021 erblickt die neue LP „The Day We Got What We Deserved“ das Licht der Welt. Darauf enthalten sein werden zehn Songs, die sich wie folgt lesen:

3. Nine Tails
4. Bishop
5. Blue Notes
6. Fade On You
7. Don’t Rush
8. Untitled III
9. Weather Eyes

Als erste Single veröffentlicht die Supergroup den Song „DIE! DIE! DIE!“ und liefert dazu ein passendes Musik-Video mit. Der Output steht in Gänze nachfolgend zum Auschecken bereit.

Das Stück als solches kommentierte Frontmann Jesse Barnett wie folgt:

„…Put simply, ‘DIE! DIE! DIE!’ is about the choices being faced by every person who’s living through this current hellscape that we call ‘civilized society’. With the video we wanted to try and visualize how the capitalist system can’t be stopped without people coming together.

Are we brave enough to stop this system and its programming? And are we creative, thoughtful, and loving enough to put something more productive in its place? Not productive in terms of output but productive in terms of making something that better suits and serves the people and the planet. I’m a sucker for a love story as well as an underdog story so I believe it’s possible. I have to.“

Das bevorstehende Album stellt den dritten Output von Trade Wind dar. Abseits von „Certain Freedoms“ von 2019 brachte die Truppe 2016 das Debüt „You Make Everything Disappear“ an den Start.

Neben den Stick To Your Guns- und Stray From The Path-Mitgliedern sind noch Randy LeBoeuf und Andrew McEnaney Teil der Band.
