Thy Art Is Murder: Schlagzeuger Jesse Beahler nun offiziell ein festes Mitglied

Thy Art Is Murder mussten sich vor einer Weile von ihrem Schlagzeuger Lee Stanton trennen, der sich wegen diverser Probleme dazu entschieden hatte, sich vorerst auf sich selbst zu konzentrieren. Nun hat die Kombo um Frontmann CJ McMahon einen Nachfolger gefunden.

Die Band heißt ihren neuen Drummer Jesse Beahler nun auch offiziell als festes Mitglied willkommen. Als Einstand hat der Musiker ein kleines Playthrough zum Titeltrack des aktuellen Albums „Human Target“ eingespielt. Ihr könnt euch weiter unten ein Bild seiner Skills machen. Beahler half bereits in Stantons Abwesenheit am Schlagzeug aus und sollte mittlerweile allen Fans ein Begriff sein.

Beahler selbst kommentierte seinen neuen Platz bei TAIM wie folgt:

„I’ve been long time friends with THY ART IS MURDER, from touring beside them on their first American tour in 2013, to becoming a contributing member of the band during ‘The Depression Sessions’, and eventually evolving into a full fledged member during the writing and recording process of our latest album, ‘Human Target’. I’m very grateful to be working alongside great friends and musicians, and feel like THY ART is a band I was always meant to be a part of.

I am incredibly proud of the performances we tracked on our newest album ‘Human Target’, and it sounds so good in part because of the great gear we selected.
