The Used: Neuer Song mit Blink-182-Mitglied Mark Hoppus

Nicht nur gefühlt, sondern tatsächlich haben The Used über die letzten Tage regelmäßig einen neuen Song aus dem am Freitag erscheinenden Album „Heartwork“ vom Stapel gelassen.

Unter den Gastauftritten des Albums verbirgt sich auch ein Part von Blink-182-Mitglied Mark Hoppus, der dem Song „The Lighthouse“ seine Stimme leiht.

Und ebenjener Track hat nun kurz vor Release ebenfalls frühzeitig das Licht der Welt erblickt.

Bert McCracken kommentiert den Song wie folgt:

“…We’ve toured with tons of big bands, Blink‘s one of the biggest, but they’ve also been one of the most generous and humble and down to earth and caring and kind. It’s crazy touring with a band that would strike the entire stage for your gear, and just going out of the way to always be really, really sweet to us.

So, we’re beyond excited and yeah, it was a pleasure. I think it was a long time coming, but it was an absolute pleasure. We did a couple of songs with him, so there’s some unreleased stuff that will be out later on as well.”

In unserer Rezension hat der Longplayer übrigens verdammt gut abgeschnitten. Die Gedanken unserer Cassandra könnt ihr euch unter diesem Verweis zu Gemüte führen.
