Static-X zeigen das offizielle Video zum Song „Dead Souls“

Im Juli haben Static-X ihr Album „Project Regeneration Vol. 1“ auf den Markt gebracht. Die LP enthält finale Aufnahmen des im November 2014 verstorbenen Sängers Wayne Static.

„Project Regneration Vol. 1“ ist, wie der Name schon vermuten lässt, die erste von insgesamt zwei Platten, auf denen die Band ihrem ehemaligen Sänger Tribut zollt.

Die Live-Nachfolge hatte bis zuletzt der „mysteriöse“ Xer0 angetreten. Vermutlich handelt es sich hierbei um Dope-Frontmann Edsel Dope. Wenngleich seitens der Beteiligten noch nichts bestätigt wurde, sind die Hinweise recht eindeutig.

Insgesamt markiert die Scheibe das siebte Studioalbum von Static-X. Zuvor brachte die Band 2009 ihre LP „Cult Of Static“ auf den Markt, dato noch mit Wayne Static höchstpersönlich am Mikrofon.
