Pvris: Veröffentlichung des neuen Albums „Use Me“ erneut verschoben

Im April haben Pvris die Veröffentlichung ihres neuen Studioalbums „Use Me“ wegen der Coronakrise auf den 10. Juli verschoben. Nun gibt es ein erneutes Delay, was die Release des bevorstehenden Longplayers angeht.

Wegen der noch immer präsenten und wichtigen Black Lives Matter-Kampagne, die im Zuge des Todes von George Floyd neu entfacht wurde, entschied sich die Band, die VÖ ihrer Platte um einige Wochen zu verschieben. Neues Release-Date ist nun der 28. August 2020.

In einem Statement heißt es:

„I do not want take up the space in promoting ‚USE ME‘ at this moment in time, therefore will be pushing the album release back until AUGUST 28TH.

Self-promotion can wait for now and I want to make room and hold space for the conversation and message of the Black Lives Matter movement to continue.

As a way for the PVRIS community to give back in the meantime, we are in the process of setting up a charity auction and other activating events for us to come together, use our collective power for good and to give back.

More details to come soon. Hope you can understand and respect this decision.“

Der Longplayer markiert das nunmehr dritte Studioalbum von Pvris. Zuletzt brachten sie 2017 „All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell“ auf den Markt. Das Debüt „White Noise“ erschien 2014.
