Northlane: Deluxe Edition des aktuellen Albums „Obsidian“ im Anflug

Im Mai haben uns Northlane ihr aktuelles Album „Obsidian“ serviert, seines Zeichens Longplayer Nr. 6 in der Bandhistorie der australischen Truppe. Nun kommt das Ganze nochmal aufpoliert auf den Markt, denn die Band um Frontmann Marcus Bridge kündigt eine Deluxe Edition ihres aktuellen Full-Length-Players an.

Das Ganze erscheint bereits nächste Woche und zwar am Freitag, den 11. November 2022. Die Platte enthält die 13 Tracks der Original-Scheibe sowie ebenjene Stücke in der Instrumental-Version. Ab kommender Woche Freitag wird das Werk dann auf allen gängigen Streamingdiensten bereitstehen.

„We are pleased to announce that next week, on November 11 we will be releasing Obsidian Deluxe.

Obsidian Deluxe will feature all 13 tracks from the original record in the instrumental format. This time we will not be offering the deluxe edition in physical format, a 4×12″ would just be too much, so it will be released on DSP’s only, for your listening pleasure.

November 11 also marks a very special date for us for another reason, it marks the 11th Anniversary of our debut record Discoveries. Back then in our wildest dreams we couldn’t have fathomed just how far this band would take us. We’ve had an incredible career thus far, and it still feels like we are only getting started.

Thanks for being part of the journey so far. Australia, UK, Netherlands and Germany, We’ll see you soon. USA and Canada we’ll be back early next year too, announcement is not far away.“

Bei „Obsidian“ handelt es sich um die erste Scheibe von Northlane, die die Band in Eigenregie an den Start brachte. Zuvor warfen die Australier 2019 ihre LP „Alien“ auf den Markt.

2023 mit den Architects auf Tour

Wer die Band endlich mal wieder live erleben möchte, hat Anfang nächsten Jahres die Möglichkeit dazu. Marcus Bridge und Co. supporten gemeinsam mit Sleep Token die Architects auf deren Live-Rutsche. Die Dates hierzulande lesen sich wie folgt:
