Metallica spendeten rund 1,5 Millionen Euro während ihrer Europa-Tour

Während Metallica mit ihrer „WorldWired“-Welttournee in den vergangenen Wochen in Europa unterwegs waren, spendeten die Mannen immer wieder an gemeinnützige Organisationen oder Einrichtungen.

Die Kombo um Sänger James Hetfield spielte die letzte Show ihrer Europa-Tour am 25. August in Mannheim. Nachdem sie auch hier rund 63.000 Euro für die Einrichtung FREEZONE, die sich für Straßenkinder in Mannheim einsetzt, spendeten, veröffentlichten die Mannen ein Statement über ihre Socials.

Metallica spenden 1,5 Millionen Euro an Charity-Projekte

Demnach haben sie während ihrer 25 Shows mithilfe ihrer bandeigenen Non-Profit-Foundation „All Within My Hands“ ca. 1,5 Millionen Euro gespendet. Von jedem verkauften Ticket pro Show ging 1 Euro an ein lokales Charity-Projekt in der Stadt, in der sie spielten.
