Metallica: 92-jähriger Vater von Lars Ulrich hat ein neues Album veröffentlicht

Bei Metallica-Drummer Lars Ulrich liegt die musikalische Ader in der Familie. Sein Papa Torben war nicht nur ein professioneller Tennisspieler, sondern ist ebenfalls Musiker – und bringt jetzt mal eben mit satten 92 Jahren ein neues Album an den Start.
Gemeinsam mit Komponist und Musiker Lori Goldston arbeitete er auf dem Output namens „Oakland moments: cello, voice, reuniting (rejoicing)“ insgesamt sieben Tracks aus, die sich wie folgt lesen:
1. elements of play
2. through the waves
3. unfolding ways
4. living on the rope
5. lunacies included
6. vastness, no ground
7. dice of play, slice of pizza

Und Sohn Lars? Ist stolz wie Oskar. Er teilte auf seinen Socials ein Bild von ihm und seinem Papa und schrieb dazu: „This is my dad… he’s the one on the left.
92 years old and just getting started… Today, as one does at his age, he’s putting out another record… This one being a collaboration with his dear friend Lori Goldston. If anybody’s interested in checking it out, it’s available on the @obscure_terrible Bandcamp page. Definitely something to aspire to.“
Unsere Traumvorstellung: Eine Kollaboration von Torben Ulrich und seinem Sohn. Der Metallica-Drummer wäre sicher nicht abgeneigt. Sag niemals nie. Wir sind gespannt, woran Torben und Lars vielleicht zukünftig gemeinsam noch arbeiten.
