I, The Breather mit neuem Label; neues Album kommt 2022

I, The Breather haben sich 2020 mit neuer Musik zurückgemeldet, nachdem sie sich fünf Jahre zuvor aufgelöst haben. Seit Oktober vergangenen Jahres haben die frischen Tracks „Prey“ und „Brainsic“ das Licht der Welt erblickt. Ein größerer Output war bisher aber noch nicht dabei – und kam der Band auch noch nicht über die Lippen.

Das ändert sich aber jetzt mit einem Deal, den die Kombo bei Pavement Entertainment unterzeichnet hat. Über das neue Label planen die Musiker jetzt auch die Veröffentlichung ihres neuen Albums.

Angepeilt werde demnach ein Release im Frühjahr 2022. Es handelt sich dabei um den ersten Longplayer seit dem 2014er Album „Life Reaper“.

Neues Album von I, The Breather kommt 2022

Frontmann Shawn Spann über die Rückkehr des Projekts:

„Taking a break from music was one of the toughest choices of my life and I really lost myself during that time. Our music has been therapy for me and to have an opportunity like this to continue is a blessing. This second chapter of I, The Breather is a chance to do what we really want as a band, which we weren’t able to do in our earlier years.“

Über den neu signierten Deal ließ Spann folgendes wissen:

„Having a label back us was the last thing I wanted, but after genuine conversations with Tim King from Pavement Entertainment, my hope in working with a team had been restored. I am just very humbled to have this opportunity. Not only am I doing this for myself, I am doing it for those around me who believed in me when I was not my strongest. I want to take this and show people that you can go from the lowest you could ever imagine, to achieving what you dreamed of your whole life. I can’t wait for this next chapter of I, The Breather.“
