Gravemind: Sänger und Gitarrist haben die Band verlassen

In einem Statement verkündete das Projekt den Split mit Frontmann Dylan Gillies-Parsons und Gitarrist Michael Petritsch. Es sei demnach eine Trennung im Guten, jedoch aufgrund einer vorliegenden Mental Health-Problematik auch eine unausweichliche.

Die Band selbst befinde sich bereits auf der Suche nach entsprechenden Nachfolgern.

Das Statement von Gravemind zum Split

Hier die Zeilen im O-Ton:

„It is with heavy hearts that today we announce the departure of Michael and Dylan from Gravemind.

These past 18 months have worn down the mental health of many throughout the music industry, and unfortunately it has gotten to a point where Michael is unable to commit to the band going forward.

We also wish to advise that we’ve parted ways with Dylan, and out of respect of the situation we ask that both Michael and Dylan’s privacy be respected.

Gravemind will be continuing on as a band, and all upcoming shows are still happening. We will have a temporary replacement for these shows, and will soon announce details regarding our search for a replacement vocalist in the coming weeks. We apologise to anyone this news lets down, but it is the most appropriate action for Gravemind to move forward.
We cant wait to show you what we’ve been working on over the last two years, however that will have to wait a bit longer than we hoped.

Auch wir wünschen sowohl Dylan, als auch Michael und natürlich den verbleibenden Mitgliedern viel Energie und Glück für ihren weiteren Weg.

Gebucht ist die Band bisher unter anderem für die Never Say Die! Tour 2021 mit Polaris, Emmure, Currents, Spite, Invent, Animate und Stepson.
