Fox Lake feuern uns ihren neuen Song „Dog Eat Dog“ um die Ohren

Fox Lake haben vergangenes Jahr ihre aktuelle EP „Lady Luck“ an den Start gebracht und melden sich nun erstmal in diesem Jahr mit frischen Tönen zurück. So dürfen wir uns über den taufrischen Track „Dog Eat Dog“ freuen.

Natürlich hat die Band aus Denver, Colorado ihren neuen Banger auch mit einem passenden Musikvideo versehen. Song und Clip stehen nachfolgend für euch zum Anhören und Anschauen bereit.

Das Grundgerüst des Songs ist bereits vor Jahren entstanden, doch es dauerte bis jetzt, bis das Stück ausgefeilt das Licht der Welt erblickte. Dazu sagt die Kombo:

„We wrote the bones of this song years ago, and it was one of the first songs that stuck out when we came back to the studio to start work on the music we’d be releasing this year […]. Lyrically it deals with owning the fear that controls so many people, stepping up and over it and moving past something that would stop other people in their tracks. It also touches on people’s inability to engage in any meaningful discourse and the ‚dog eat dog‘ mentality that permeates today’s political and social landscape. While the chest-beating and bravado is there, the core of the song is something very real and very critical of the fear that so many people will succumb to.“

Abseits der aktuellen EP „Lady Luck“ brachten Fox Lake 2020 ihr Debüt-Album „Silence & Violence“ an den Start.
