Dream State melden sich mit ihrem neuen Song „Monsters“ zurück

Vor gut einem Jahr haben Dream State ihr Debüt-Album „Primrose Path“ auf den Markt gebracht. Nun meldet sich die britische Band mit neuer Musik zurück und lässt ihren Track „Monsters“ vom Stapel.

Den Song als solchen kommentiert die Band mit folgenden Worten:

„We ask each of you – do you love yourselves? How far are you willing to go to love and know who you are? Monsters are hiding inside of you, they were built from your fear and trauma, and these monsters are hiding you from your inner truth and light, keeping you stiff and rigid, resentful and bitter. 2020 is the year to recognise where the monsters are hiding, but don’t run from them, don’t kill them – instead, show the monsters a new way. Show them love.“

To help free people from the shackles of the material world and minds, thus reuniting them with their spirit, heal their inner child and open their hearts back up. We should be so grateful and thankful for this knowledge that still lives on today – let it echo forever, far and wide. These teachings have aided me in my journey to defeating the “monsters within”. For me, it’s taken over two decades to love myself again. Not the kind of self-love where you overly admire yourself, but true body, mind and soul love. The kind of love that has you dancing in the street without any care what others think, that has you up early in the mornings just to capture the sun, that has you smiling ear to ear just at the sight of a lovers kiss, a dancing child or blossoming flower. Love that has you up at night just to sit with the stars and chat with the moon. The kind of love where you make positive choices for your body, for your mind and soul, the kind of love that means, no matter what falls away in your life, you can stand strong and calm and still and fiercely let go of what is no longer serving you. ‘Monsters’, an anthem of love. Ob das Stück eine alleinstehende Single ist oder womöglich ein erster Vorgeschmack auf ein neues Album, ist noch nicht ganz klar. Ihr Instagram-Profil setzen Dream State zumindest „auf 0 zurück“ und wir wissen ja, was das in aller Regel zu bedeuten hat. Wir halten Augen und Ohren offen.

„Primrose Path“ erschien im Oktober 2019 und stellt die erste Full-Length-Platte der Kombo dar. Anfang des Jahres waren sie als Support von I Prevail hierzulande live zu sehen. Die laufende Tour wurde wegen der Pandemie abgebrochen.

Im Mai kommenden Jahres stehen dann neue Shows auf dem Plan; auch hier ist die Band wieder als Support von I Prevail zu sehen. Alle Infos zu den anstehenden Terminen findet ihr hier.
