Carcass verschieben die Veröffentlichung ihres neuen Albums
Ratet, "wer" Schuld daran ist.

Carcass wollten eigentlich am 07. August ihr neues Studioalbum „Torn Arteries“ auf den Markt bringen. Und obwohl das Release-Date noch so weit in der Zukunft liegt, steht jetzt schon fest, dass die Veröffentlichung wegen des Coronavirus verschoben werden muss.
In einem Statement dazu heißt es, dass wegen des wirtschaftlichen Shutdowns keine CDs und Vinyls produziert werden können. Die Band betont jedoch, dass es derzeit wichtigeres gäbe als ihr neues Album.

„Well there’s no way our new album is gonna get release in August now, what with the ongoing pandemic, CD & vinyl manufacturers have closed and label distribution has been put on hold for the foreseeable future. There’s more pressing things to be concerned with right now, correct? Bunker down, look after yourselves, let’s see the next few months through and we’ll get the album released as soon as there’s some kind of return to ’normality’…“
Ein neues Datum steht bislang noch nicht fest.
„Torn Arteries“ markiert das nunmehr siebte Studioalbum der britischen Band. Zuletzt brachten Carcass 2013 ihren (noch) aktuellen Longplayer „Surgical Steel“ auf den Markt.
Das Debütwerk „Reek of Putrefaction“ erschien 1988, drei Jahre nach Gründung der Band.
