Behemoth kündigen eine EP mit vier neuen Songs an

Vor zwei Jahren haben Behemoth ihr aktuelles Studioalbum „I Loved You At Your Darkest“ auf den Markt gebracht. Nun ist es Zeit für ein bisschen Nachschub an neuer Musik.

Legions! Our new EP “A Forest” releases May 29th including the title track featuring Niklas Kvarforth of Shining! Covering music outside of metal is a challenge covering legendary music is an even greater challenge…that is what drove us throughout this process. The EP contains two brand-new Behemoth songs, “Shadows Ov Ea Cast Upon Golgotha” and “Evoe”. The tracks act as a continuation on from ILYAYD – no more, no less. Diese erreicht uns Ende des Monats in Form der neuen EP „The Forest“. Die Band um Frontmann Adam „Nergal“ Darski kündigte den Output vier Songs, wovon es sich bei zwei davon um eine Cover-Version des Tracks „A Forest“ von The Cure handelt.

Die beiden Cover sind einmal als Studioversion und einmal als Live-Version darauf zu finden; auf beiden gastiert Niklas Kvarforth, Frontmann der schwedischen Band Shining.

Die beiden neuen Tracks fungieren als Fortsetzung des aktuellen Albums „I Loved You At Your Darkest“. Die Kombo kommentierte die Release ihrer neuen EP mit folgenden Worten:

„I Loved You At Your Darkest“ markiert bereits das elfte Studioalbum von Behemoth.

Anfang des Jahres war die Kombo aus Polen als Support von Slipknot bei deren Headliner-Tour durch Europa mit von der Partie.
